If you're looking for the perfect wedding then you MUST use Glam Events. Ilaria was recommended to us for our destination wedding and she was AMAZING from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble. From what’s app messages to email to video calls, she was always on hand. We first met in April 2023 for a venue scouting weekend and Ilaria’s suggestions were brilliant. She listened to our requirements and made some great venue recommendations. With our venue chosen and date set for July 2024, we then returned in April 2024 for a fabulous weekend of food and wine tasting, hair and make up trial and meeting vendors to make final choices. With so many decisions to make, you could easily feel overwhelmed, but with Ilaria by your side she makes the whole process really enjoyable. We had a three day event with children present and the whole occasion ran so smoothly and to absolute perfection. I cannot express how grateful we are to her for orchestrating the best and most memorable weekend of our lives. Our wedding in Tuscany in October of 2023 wouldn't have been half as magical but for the incredible effort of Lara. In just under 10 months, she helped create an event that was absolutely perfect and way beyond what our imaginations could have conjured up alone. As we regularly reminisce about this most special moment in our lives, we find we’re always thinking of Lara too and just how grateful we are to have had her by our side for the experience. After initially trying to do it all ourselves and plan an intimate destination wedding all the way from Los Angeles, we realized that we needed the help of a local planner. Lara came highly recommended through a colleague whose son was using her for their gala wedding in Tuscany as well (we heard only amazing things from them after their affair). She suggested an introductory Facetime call and we immediately knew she was the consummate wedding professional. She was warm, friendly, organized, and spent time really getting to know us and listening to our preferences. We particularly appreciated that Lara wanted to make sure we were mutually a fit, so she suggested a trial run before moving to a contract. This really showed us how much she cares about her clients and always puts their needs for their special day above her own. We started our work together by identifying some options for the villa, which was to serve as both the venue for the ceremony as well as housing for our families. Lara got back to us promptly with a fabulous list of venues, with one that absolutely blew us away. To this day, we’re still stunned and feel so lucky to have found this one villa. We would have never, ever have found it without Lara and her local expertise. From there, we were set. We booked the villa and signed on with Lara for the rest of the planning. Over the following months, Lara guided us through the process of selecting vendors and ironing out all the other details. She was thorough, responsive, and flexible. She was also really intent on helping us find the right providers for everything we needed, and not once did she put any pressure on us to use her connections. Lara even offered to contact vendors that we found on our own via Instagram, which is how we ended up with our amazing photographers (LaTo Photography) and makeup & hair artists (Bezal Makeup). Lara delivered on everything she promised, and advised us on so many little touches that elevated the entire wedding. We met Lara for the first time in person the day before the ceremony and she was as lovely as expected. It was like reuniting with an old friend. During the big day, she was there at every step making sure our vision turned into reality. She was calm, collected, gentle, hardworking, and unshakable. Even when the weather forecast turned out to be less than ideal, she helped us pivot while still maintaining our standards and expectations. Lara is unbelievable at what she does. Overall, working with Lara and Glam Events in Tuscany was an 11/10.
